Job Description:
A company is looking for a Credit Risk Lead to take ownership of
its credit strategy and policy.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the Credit Policy by making iterative improvements based on
data and business needs
Monitor Loan Book Performance through dashboards and analysis of
default rates
Evolve the Underwriting Model by adjusting risk weightings and
collaborating with engineering and data teams
Required Qualifications:
Experience in building or evolving credit policy at a lender
Background in fintech with understanding of underwriting
differences between tech and traditional services
Familiarity with small business underwriting or willingness to
learn
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data questioning and
pattern recognition
Strategic mindset with ability to guide discussions and manage
risk-reward balance
