Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Principal IP Legal
Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Execute creation and management of intellectual property and
prepare a global patent portfolio
Interface with R&D and business development teams to align IP
strategies with business objectives
Support IP due diligence for mergers/acquisitions and assist in
drafting and negotiating IP agreements
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally accredited law school
8+ years of experience in intellectual property law
Licensed to practice in at least one US state or the District of
Columbia
Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark
Office
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, or
similar scientific disciplines (preferred)
