Wherever curiosity thrives, you'll find us-partnering with iconic institutions to create retail environments as extraordinary as the stories they tell!Director of People ServicesThe Director of People Services will provide strategic leadership and direction for the Human Resources/People Services function across the organization. This position will lead a team of three Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) to drive initiatives that support employee engagement, organizational development, performance management, and talent acquisition. The Director will work closely with executive leadership and community/department leaders to develop, implement, and oversee HR strategies that align with the organization's mission, vision, and values.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that directly support organizational goals and business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and department leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and complex employee relations.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and innovation at every level.Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three HR Business Partners, ensuring they have clear goals, professional growth plans, and the resources needed to succeed.
    • Establish performance metrics and regularly review progress to drive accountability and celebrate achievements.
    • Promote collaboration and consistency in HR practices across all functions managed by HRBPs.Organizational Development & Talent Management
      • Design and implement talent management programs, including succession planning, leadership development, and capability building.
      • Partner with the Store Support Center to fulfill recruiting needs, streamline hiring processes, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
      • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through policies, training, and employee networks.Employee Relations & Compliance
        • Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
        • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, facilitating fair and timely resolutions that reflect our values.
        • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential HR vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
        • Act as the primary resource for employee relations matters within the Store Support Center.Qualifications
          • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing HR Business Partners.
          • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
          • Proven ability to translate business objectives into effective people strategies.
          • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
          • Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics preferred.
          • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification is highly desirable.Core Competencies
