Job Description:
Marriott International, a global leader in lodging with
properties across 139 countries, is seeking a skilled Pantry Chef
to join our dynamic food services team. In this role, you will be
an essential part of our kitchen staff, focusing on the preparation
and presentation of cold dishes such as salads, appetizers,
dressings, and sandwiches. You'll have the opportunity to work in a
fast-paced, innovative environment that prioritizes high-quality
service and exceptional guest dining experiences. The ideal
candidate will have a profound knowledge of food safety standards
and a passion for culinary arts. Prepare a variety of cold dishes
including salads, sandwiches, and appetizers. Ensure high standards
of food hygiene and follow the health and safety regulations. Stock
and manage assigned food station and ensure quality of the products
served. Work with team members to facilitate a collaborative
environment. Maintain cleanliness and order in the pantry area.
Assist with inventory control and management. Collaborate with
other chefs to plan and develop recipes or menus. Proficient in
various cooking techniques and food preparation. Strong
understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations. Excellent
organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Good communication and team-working skills. Food Handler's
Certificate Certification in Culinary Arts (optional but
beneficial)
