Are you looking for a Histology leadership position in San Diego, CA? My name is Caroline and I am a Healthcare Recruiter with a NEW permanent opportunity at a cutting-edge genomics diagnostic company.

Overview: The Histology Supervisor makes sure the histology lab runs smoothly while also meeting high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Lab Work Handle tissue processing, cutting, staining, and making slides for research and diagnosis.
• Lead & Train the Team Get new employees up to speed and make sure everyone knows what they re doing.
• Improve Processes Update workflows, troubleshoot problems, and ensure top-notch quality.
• Ensure Compliance Follow all safety and industry regulations (CAP, CLIA, etc.).
• Keep Things Organized Manage specimens, maintain records, and properly handle hazardous materials.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor s or Associate s degree in science.
• Experience: At least 3 years in histology and 1 year in leadership.
• Strong attention to detail, process improvement experience, and ability to train others.
• Bonus: Certification (HT or HTL from ASCP) and experience with digital pathology are a plus.
