Registered Nurse (RN) | Psych Location: Reseda, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,036 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 15 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Geriatric Psych RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Geriatric Psychiatry Duration: Short-term Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: Typically 8-12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute RN experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, CPI Must-Have: Strong and competent nursing skills. Combination of medical and psychiatric background. Description: Provide care for patients aged 60 years and older in a short-term acute psychiatric setting. Work as part of a team of 2-3 RNs per shift. Ensure high standards of care and support for geriatric patients. Participate in the treatment planning and implementation of therapeutic interventions. Maintain patient safety and well-being at all times. Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members. Understand the call-off policy that allows for the cancellation of one shift per pay period. Adhere to all credentialing requirements, including background checks.
