Job Category: Nursing - Patient FacingShift: NightSchedule: Full timeWork Location: Mission Viejo, CASupervisor of Nursing - CICUThis is a full-time position that will work night shifts.The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is a 27-bed cardiac and medical critical care unit. It specializes in pre- and post-operative cardiac care, cardiomyopathy patients requiring mechanical circulatory support, heart failure and post-MI cardiology patients, IABP, Swan-Ganz, CRRT, TTM, DKA, pacemakers, severe sepsis, and respiratory failure.Job Summary:Under the direction of the nurse manager, director, or executive director, the Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor provides an optimal environment and assists in overseeing and directing unit activities and personnel to ensure high-quality patient care. Plans, organizes, controls, and coordinates departmental activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective service. Adheres to the ANA Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice.Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• California Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire)
• One professional certification in a related area (upon hire)
• Two years of recent clinical experience in the specialty area
• Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse experiencePreferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
