• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene in the Med Surg Tele Unit.
• Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients.
• Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
• Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
• Answers phones and call lights.
• Ensures unit is stocked with supplies.
• Assists patient transporter as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.*Shift = Nights, 7pm to 730am*QualificationsExperience Requirements:Minimum 6-months to 1-year of nursing assistant or related experience, two (2) plus years preferred.Required To Have Experience In Acute Care Setting.Educational/Certification Requirements:High School Diploma/GED.Current BLS Required. (BCLS Certification Preferred).Certified Nursing Assistant.
