Project Engineer to support the V2500 program on the A320 aircraft family for Aftermarket Technical Services (AMTS).
Management of product support requirements, deliverables, customer/supplier expectations, and delivery of best in class service levels.
Specific responsibility will be identification of adverse reliability trends and addressing through implementation of rapid corrective action.
Airline and OE customer perception to be managed through high level of engagement and customized solutions to issues.
7 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree or 5 years of related experience with a Masters degree.
Ability to define, track, and document multi-disciplinary project tasks (schedule, resources, budget/cost).
Very strong written and verbal skills.
Experience with identifying reliability issues or product shortfalls/reliability issues and driving corrective action.
Experience with technical presentation to internal and external customers.
Knowledge of contracts and specifications.
Supplier management experience.
Good understanding of design (structures & systems).
Knowledge and experience with CATIA V5.
Knowledge and experience of MS Project.
Analytical problem solving skills, motivated and team orientated.
Experience of Continuous Improvement or Process Improvement participation.
Strong bias for continuous improvement process.
Good understanding of aftermarket support manuals.
General understanding Stress & Repair familiarization.
Good understanding of the basic materials and processes, and contractual understanding.
Original Equipment Manufacturer specification documentation, and coordination and leveraging of new product development and production departments.
Aftermarket skills to understand and define scope and process as well as map future needs for program maintainability, support, and maturity.
Understands field problems/inquiries, provide innovative and practical solutions to resolve technical issues affecting the Airlines, Engine Manufacturers and Air Framers.
Customer Support experience.
Required:Bachelors degree in Engineering.
Preferred:Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
