Job Description Summary The OCCE Student Lead will be responsible for supporting the community-based learning faculty, students, community partners and co-curricular community engagement activities in an office that values mutually beneficial relationships and cultural competency. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The University of La Verne is a private not-for-profit university founded in 1891 located in La Verne, California. Excellent oral and written communication skills. General clerical and organizational skills. Ability to work under tight time constraints. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Takes initiative and a self-starter. Must be an active ULV student. Preferred Qualifications Public speaking skills. 1 to 2 years of related experience with nonprofit organizations or community service Value collaborative partnerships among diverse groups of people in multicultural environments. Work Schedule Hours: Preferred availability is 2-3 days a week at 6-8 hours a week, with the possibility of some evening and weekend events.
