Our client is a global media production company, seeking a
Manager of Accounting and Finance Operations to join their dynamic
Digital and Technology finance team.Client DetailsOur client is a

company.Description
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly cyclical closings for the
Operating Divisional area, overseeing third-party goods and
services.
- Produce detailed reports, analyze actual spending, and
scrutinize accrual journal entries to accurately capture all
incurred third-party costs from both profit and loss and balance
sheet perspectives.
- Perform periodic accrual validations.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, capable of providing concise
explanations for monthly spending results and supporting
analysis.
- Collaborate with operational leads and planning teams to
address expense inquiries and gather variance analysis
explanations.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts for
Prepaids and Vendor accruals, including managing prepayment
amortization.
- Manage the Procure-to-Pay Process, including vendor management,
invoicing, and issue resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts payable and
guide vendors through internal systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with Purchase Order requirements to
facilitate accurate month-end close accruals. Work with
cross-functional teams to interpret, analyze, and establish
contracts for Purchase Order creation and invoice receipt.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and
undertake ad hoc projects.
- Collaborate with the Planning and Analysis team during
month-end and budget/forecast cycles.
- Adhere to prescribed deadlines set by the General Accounting
team and maintain a personal month-end closing checklist.
- Assist in preparing presentations and supporting materials for
management.
- Support Internal and External Audit requests, ensuring
compliance with identified "Key SOX Controls" and proper
documentation of transactions while tracking the status of
requests.Profile
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or STEM
field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting or similar role
experience
- 2 years of experience managing people
- Knowledge of MS Outlook/Word/PowerPoint & especially Excel
(Pivot Tables and be comfortable working with large amounts of
data)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the
aptitude to communicate with all levels of management
- Strong analytical thinking
- Fully understands accrual accounting and its implications and
has a working knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to work somewhat independently and be resourceful
- Ability to summarize data clearly and concisely while being
able to articulate messaging to different stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while
multitasking with attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent
